Official NS girlfriend....

Yes..im now an official NS girlfriend. Went to Joey's POP yesterday.. =)
Im supposed to go with his mum, but ended up going with Ramdan, his best friend. It was quite fun..felt a bit like going to Batam or some island resort for holiday! I expected the ferry to be some SAF kind of thing or some old rickety looking boat..haha.. but it was a nice air-con ferry with tv mobile! Oh well, at least the journey there was comfortable. Tekong doesn't look like anything i've ever imagined...it was so resort-like! But I know if i was a recruit going back to camp it would feel like hell lah..
Anyways..it was a really hot and humid day and around 3 or 4 in the afternoon..the hottest time of the day!! I really pitied them all standing on the parade square in the hot sun waiting for the MP to finish his speech.. and 3 people fainted! All from the same company!! I was so hoping my baby wouldn't faint..but i knew he would be tough enough to endure that kind of thing..and i know he wouldn't wanna faint in front of his girlfriend mah... hehe..
Me and Ramdan went down to the parade square to put his cap on for him..and we took photos and stuff like that.. felt so proud of my boyfriend! Though it felt like the worst was over...it wasn't...cuz Joey had bad news.. I dunno whether i should call it bad news or not.. He kena posted to guards.. Bad news is that the training is really tough and there's overseas training and stuff like that. But the good news is that his camp is most prob in bedok and night's off from 6pm and his home is nearby.. and I think they are paid much better.. Actually im not too sure about what's gonna happen..all i know is that the both of us have to suffer a little bit for the next one and a half years or so....
It sux a lot now cuz we are such a new couple..and new couples go out alot and do lotsa stuff together.... but we seldom get to see each other and the little time we spend together is so precious! The one good thing is that if we can survive NS together..the rest of our journey would be pretty much smooth sailing...
We were talking about this kind of thing last night..and Joey was saying that our personalities are like two worlds apart but when we are together, we just seem to click.. I think that we just compliment each other's personality perfectly...so..sometimes its good to be different..hehe.. BUt...one weird thing is that we have similar tastes in so many things.. it sometimes gets a little creepy..hahaha.. ONe of my favourite songs from Oasis is The MAsterplan...and he was surprised that i actually knew about that song...cuz it wasn't popular or anything..but he liked it alot too.. our dislike for onions and certain vegetables..haha.. we both love bangkok.. we both are pathetic at chinese... we both have more malay friends than chinese friends.. we both have bad teeth..hahaha.. we even share the same scar on our hands..and we both dunno how we got it in the first place...hahha... oh well.. guess its meant to be.. I just love him so much.. =)
