First post of the year...

Heyhey... been a while ya..sorry!
I've got a new partner at work... and damn its Vel!!! You should have seen my face when I heard the news.. haha...but its been more than a week and its been real great.. she's actually a really nice person.
Really very kaypoh and irritating...but really nice and gerek to the max! Really sia...surf net together during shifts and stuff.. teaching me alot about online shopping and swapping makeup tips..haha...
Work still sucks though, but I actually feel happier nowadays...not so much wanting to quit anymore. I guess its cuz Im in charge of the shop again! Haha...can make my own decisions and it feels good to have this responsibility. I mean, its stressful, but at the same time it feels good.
sheesh..dunno what im talking about sia...
Anyways...I got Joey the Creative Muvo Slim that he wanted... he was so surprised...i thought he would have guessed what i would have gotten for him, but he didn't! haha... And the best part is that i get to use the player during weekdays while he's in camp... hehe...ya la, I know i got it for him, but at least its being put to full use rather than sitting at his home rotting away while he's not around.
Oh ya...got a new addiction... "Buried myself alive" by The Used. Its a really great song! Didn't like it at first, but after listening to it so many times over and over...and realising the lyrics were so meaningful...now im really into it..and starting to listen to other songs by The Used. They're a really cool band. Oh..and "Firewater" by Yellowcard. The violin part is so cute! it makes the song sound so refreshing...haha..if i can describe it that way la...its such a sweet song...and so sad.. into this emo thing already... haha... and the funniest thing is that i have totally nothing to be emo about la...haha..
And....Joey and i went to Ikea on saturday..i took mc...haha.. i finally bought my wardrobe and display shelf..everything's being delivered on thursday... can't wait..can't wait!!! =) Gonna have a new really cool room...not that it isn't cool already..ahem..hahaha.. i mean, who else has got a blue and purple room? And we're not talking baby blue here.. with crazy lookin curtains and the door spray-painted blue.. =) hee...

Tomorrow's Pa's birthday, turning 54...old sial... haha...me too! gonna be 23!!! arghh!!! freaking out here!!!! If i stuck to my childhood dreams or goals..whatever u call them...i would be freaking married by next year...oh gawd!!! Im OLD!!! ok...back to my pa...we going to changi to have seafood tomorrow night with the family. And i miss Joey.... its gettin harder and harder each day... i seriously hate this NS thing. it sucks so much... sigh..
